Description

The “descending Venturi” wet dust remover operates by injecting the washing solution into the venturi cone, where the air velocity is so high, it finely pulverises the washing solution by closely mixing the two fluids.
In the Venturi diffuser, the speed of the aeriform substance decreases with the formation of strong turbulence and the dust particles are captured by the airborne water droplets.
The air then goes to the tower that operates as a high-efficiency drop separator, where the separation between the liquid and the dust removed gas occurs.
The liquid/dust mixture is conveyed to the base of the tower, which , depending on the case, can serve as a tank to supply the recirculation pump with decantation and timed bottom discharge of the sludge produced or by simple drainage to purification.
The plant allows good abatement efficiency to be achieved, which on dust with granulometry is over 20µ, and good wettability characteristics, reaching 95%.
