CARTRIDGE FILTERS
The purpose of these plants is aeriform substance dedusting.
The characteristic of cartridge filters is to save space compared to the bag filter equivalents, while application limits reduce their fields of use.
They generally consist of a solid metal sheet and steel sections onto which the machine’s operating parts are fixed.
The filtering medium is housed internally and consists of pleated “non-fabric” cartridges.
The aeriform substance distributes itself inside the structure and through the filtering fabric, onto which the particulate pollutant is deposited.
The cleaning system with counter-current compressed air managed by an electronic programmer allows the dust to be detached and continuously discharged with the plant running.
They are normally parallelepiped with vertical cartridges; in particular cases, they can even be made with horizontal cartridges.
The range of flow rates is from 500 to 40.000 m³/h with filtration efficiency up to 99.98%
